An easy hike around Bear Lake. Beautiful views, cold water-Garret tested it out while rock jumping and easy enough for all the kids. We loved the National Park.
What would cause 4 kids to stand still for more than a minute? A magician on the Riverwalk of Estes Park. They loved it and talked about it for days.
Our recent weekend trip took us to Estes Park, Co. This in at the base of Rocky Mountain Nt'l Forest. We found a place called Trout Haven. I personally think it should have been called Trout Hell and Kid Haven. They handed the kids fishing poles and in they cast with 100's of trout ready to bite. We were of course successful and after finding out that they were charging $.95/ inch walked out with a pain in our wallet. We caught seven fish. Trout anyone....
Garret's spring Little League team finished 4th in the tournment this year. He played for the tigers and did a great job pitching. He's got a great arm on him and I think a future in this all American sport. He is also thrilled this summer to have his own room with a baseball theme. He is keeping busy this summer with baseball camp, scout camp, summer school, and play.
We've been married 15 yrs now. Yep we still like each other and find our walks alone with the dog delightful. We've also taken up Hot Yoga at the gym together-so FUN!
